Pink Floyd - Pulse

Boy I feel old when stuff that was a pretty cutting edge release (blinking led tech lol) in my teens now is already needing restoring!

I knew a light guy who was all lyrical about the light show, and how every moving head had to be programmed individually. It gave me a sense of appreciation of a good light show at concerts. Which often gets neglected by most musicians.

Pulse was a great show, but also Pink Floyd's sunset era. The 60's and 70's was Floyd's creative and musical heyday and it saddens me that of Live in Pompeii aside we have no quality video recordings of that era. If only the VCR era had come a decade earlier, then at least we would have had a plethora of great 70's recordings. Of all bands of that era. Not to mention that the BBC would not have erased their stash of 60's and 70's Doctor Who tapes.

Also, how come this video is still up on youtube? Pink Floyd are notorious for being blockers?

Edit: Ah, they uploaded it themselves.

I'll take this one over the Pulse show personally.
