We do some Tom Petty in the band. I'll be looking to get a whole lot closer tonewise now that I've got the Axe. I'll be tweaking Vox, Blackface Deluxe and Tweed ( vintage ) amp sims as those have been the mainstays of Tom and Mike. Saw them a few months ago as Mudcrutch ( Petty's first band, reunited for small west coast tour ) and Mike was playing a vintage B-bender Tele through a vintage Princeton and tweed Deluxe. Killer tones and show. Any thoughts on coppin some TP ( or should I say Mike Campbell? ) tone? Thanks?
