Hello!! I've really been aiming for that periphery "djent" tone with my axe fx and was wondering if I could get some advice regarding achieving something similar to this . How does he get the sound of the strings to really pop out like that? TY!

I nail the periphery tone with a ts 808 drive at 0.16 and level at 3
6160 block with input drive at 4 or 3 and the boat turned on the amp block miss at 7 highs at 7 bass at 3 lots of presence and a little depth to taste

Kudos for using the search but this thread is almost three years old. Not that it's irrelevant though.

I noticed they are ment for AXE FX 2, will it still work on the AXE FX 2 XL the same?
