Pedalboard for FM3

This may sound silly, but I’m struggling to comprehend the transition from the Voodoo Labs board to the FM3. The head of the IEC cable is too large to fit through the holes on the board. If that makes sense.
Correct - I cut the plug off the cable and then replaced it with a replacement plug after running it thru. The other options is to make the whole bigger.

I have a temple audio 17 as well with my FM3. I sold my Quad cortex and I have a left over CIOKS DC7 + CIOKS, that doesnt work with the Fractal. How are you keeping the FM powered on the board? Im using an outlet current but would like to have a power supply so i can have my board plugged into the wall outlet instead

attaching the video in case, around 4:50 i show what I did to get the IEC cable above on the Temple board, you can also see the Y cable etc..

I'm using a Y cable underneath the board, so it splits the IEC into two IEC connections before it goes to the Cioks SOL and the FM3

if you're not keen on doing your own power cable, you can dremel/cut through one of the holes in the corner of the board, unscrew that one side, and then place the IEC cable through there and reattach that side , that's what i did on my board, works a treat

I needed the protection of a flight-case so I did this which includes the Boss (Roland) GM-800 Guitar Synth (which uses FM3 IN2 L+R for adding Synth to Scenes) and also the Boss GKC-AD Analog/Digital Converter (13pin support box) which is hidden under the FM3 with all the A/C stuff, etc. When the lid of 5 inch high flight-case is on it's like a party-in-a-box... just open it up and out pours the fun! ;)

Seems that way may be the go! On my quad, I just enjoy hitting the power button IEC module with a power switch on the side of the temple board instead of having it plugged into the wall. It was more convenient that way for me. However, my power outlets are ungrounded and aren't the best. I have an outlet with an EVH Hypersonic FRFR and a FM3 on a single outlet. What I'm wondering is, will it draw more power from a power supply then split into an FM3, than it would be to run the FM3 straight to the outlet with the FM3 only, since I'm technically not really powering any other pedals.

good question, but i'm thinking having the IEC split cable is not unlike having a multisocket going out from the wall to power a few devices
i can't comment on the voodoo labs courtesy outlet as i don't own one

ground is always a good idea though

okay cool! I just worry with running the Power supply, Hypersonic FRFR and a FM3 in a two prong outlet my be overkill for my already badly wired outlet.

Also huge fan of the youtube videos!
