Pedal board and case help please

Help I have a AX8 and just got a temple board and hard shell case for it. However it won't close or fit. Has anyone had this issues w their cases or any other pedal cases? Does anyone have suggestions of a different foam or way to protect it to use if I take out the existing foam?

It almost fits but would push too much on AX8
 
Sounds like a custom foam job is in order! Best thing to do is to measure your case insides and do the math. Take out the foam and cut it down or get a shorter foam to replace it with.

If you cut down the foam I would suggest making a hot knife out of thin wire and some sort of power supply or battery. Plenty of Youtube vids on the subject.
 
It almost fit but the metal bar and top part of ax8 prevents it from closing and EV pedal doesn't help. Does anyone have any alternative ideas if I rip out foam?
