Patches silent with 8.09

hi,
I know this has been discussed with other firmware updates but since upgrading my Ultra to 8.09 at least 7 patches have been dead quiet and these are some of my main patches! I upgraded from 8.07 btw.
Any ideas?

If you're using an external controller to modify volume of blocks in the patches it's likely the new external controller start up value is affecting you.

(I don't have my Axe-Fx in front of me so this may not be perfectly accurate, but should get you started...)

Go to to the IO screen. Find the controllers page. Scroll down. You'll see for each external controller you can assign a startup value. Set it to 100% or something other than 0%.

Optionally: try rocking your external controllers back and forth after turning on your Axe-Fx so the system picks them up and sets their working value.

That's about the only thing I can think of....
