Patches going away when I power off the unit

Because of moving the studio around, I had unplugged my Standard from any type of electricity for a number of weeks. When I plugged it back in & powered up, no patches were available. So, I reloaded the A & B default banks yesterday, played it, worked fine. Powered off (still plugged in to electrical outlet). Today, all of the patches are gone again....and it appears the global settings (contrast for example) are back to default. Any suggestions? I'm running 10.04.

Maybe you need to replace the battery--Backup Battery Type: CR2450 Lithium

Yep that's what it sounds like, although those batteries are supposed to be good for like 10 or 15 years, so it could just be that for whatever reason, your battery just isn't making good contact. Open the unit and re-seat it really good and then try saving a preset and turning it off. If it still doesn't save, then replace the battery.
