Ozzy Osbourne - Mama, I’m Coming Home 7/5/25

I didn't realize he was emotional at that point and regret my comment a bit. I thought the video was how the whole show went, struggling to get the lyrics out from a chair. It is hard to argue against the idea that if people want to come see you, then give them what they want though I'm still conflicted. I guess I got a bit blinded to the fact that it was a tribute too, so: I take my overly harsh criticism back. Rock on!

some artists earn a little self indulgence and going out on their own terms, Ozzy is one. And from the crowd shots everyone that was there understood the moment and were excited to be a part of it.

At the end of the day, music is art. It’s for the artist.
If they enjoy performing, they should perform their art. What someone else thinks about their art or them being able to perform their art is neither here nor there

'All proceeds from the sold-out 42,000-seat event were donated to Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice. Geezer Butler commented, “It has been overwhelmingly gratifying to have so many major bands showing their love for this band, and willingly doing it all for charity. We were always hated by the music press, but the people that matter—the fans and other musicians—have been overwhelmingly supportive of Sabbath.”.'
