Output Jacks causing Volume Problem!

Hi guys got an AX8 used...
When I use the main output 1, with the cable all the way in into the AX8 the volume is low.
When i pull the cable out slightly, the volume increases higher.
(1/4'')

I'm guessing this isnt normal right?
cables are fine, no issues on that.

this is normal. it is not a problem when used correctly.

push the cable in all the way like you would any other device. the 1/4" outputs are Humbuster TRS jacks. do not pull them out slightly for more volume.

Is it possible to apply a Control Switch to the Humbuster Cable that would pull it out of the jack 1/32 of an inch, for leads?
:D

as humorous as this is, there are many ways to increase for a lead boost or just more level in general.

there should be no reason to need to do this "trick" to get volume. it's not intended and improper use.
