Opinion on the FX3 vs the FX2 and FM9

Which would you purchase, the FX3, the FX2, or the FM9

Agreed - but only if the OP wants the flagship / absolute maximum capabilty.

I used to always want the best/latest/greatest, but "right sizing" became more important as a balance of simplicity against complexity. As I grow older I tend to keep simpifying and down-sizing to reduce both cognitive load and maintenance overhead. Just my perspective.

Although I own a FX3mk2 Turbo, I voted for FM9.
Simply because it is more convenient, costs less and is more than powerful enough for me.
