Is it possible to use one FC-12 to control two Axe-FX IIs or a FM3 and Axe-FX? Two FM3s?

No, it is not possible to do this. An FC can only connect to a single processor at a time.

OK, so you would have to something unnatural with MIDI from the first processor in the chain to make it work.

If you guys ever build a big brother for the FM3 that is essentially an AxeFX3 in an FC12-sized box, it would be a cool extra feature if its switches and controllers, and any attached FCs' switches and controllers, would be passed thru to an XLR jack that could be connected to a downstream AxeFX3, and if it could interface with the downstream AxeFX3 via USB interface (or at least SPDIF) to allow them to work together and have 4 simultaneous amps/cabs....
