Not a Bug On startup, FM3Edit doesn't track the startup layout on device

This may be a wish more than a bug, but it seems like unexpected behavior to me, so I'm posting here:

My FM3 is set to boot up on Layout 7 - When I start FM3Edit, and select FC Controllers, Layout 1 comes up by default, leaving me confused for a moment. Seems like it should sync to the layout currently on the device.
 
Edit doesn't sync Layout selection from hardware. you'll just have to click the Layout you want to Edit.

this was wished for in the past, so it may be possible in the future. but for now, things like block selected and footswitch layout from hardware don't sync. they're probably trying to keep the communication messages as low as possible for fastest operation. something's got to give somewhere.
