Old Axe Edit & Yosemite. Anyone have it working?

I just can't get my Ultra to connect to the 191 version of the old Axe Edit. Worked flawlessly since it came out but I got a new Macbook and took it to Yosemite and that was all she wrote. Does the spin but then says Device not connected.
 
I'm not a computer savvy person so I don't know if this will be of any help or not.

I had connection issues not long ago but I don't know whether or not upgrading to Yosemite was the cause. I found that opening the Axe Edit software (191) at the same time as I turn ON my Ultra was the ONLY way for the two to work together properly. If say the Ultra were already up and running and I wanted to use Axe Edit the connection would take forever (if at all) and changing presets took what seemed like days to load. Before this I don't recall it making a difference if my Ultra was ON already or not when I opened AE.
 
I appreciate the idea Stephen13. Tried it last night at the studio but no luck. Next up I'll try a MIDI split with a Windoze laptop.
