I have one with both, it's called the DUO, has 2 switches and 1 control knob. The control knob (Pedal) is calibrated, one switch also, but the second doesn't want to come to live.
 
@Goldtop57 - I've purchased a Quad + for my axe fx 3, and I'm finding it impossible to set up - I've tried both the ext. switches and the pedal inputs on the back of my FC-6 and all I have managed to do is have basically 2 switches doing exactly the same function and only on a hold function rather than an "on / off" type function. I've watched the YouTube videos and none seem to cover how to set these up with an Axe FX / FC-6 combination - only really an FM3.

Any hints? And do any other users have any helpful set up tips?

I basically want to use the 4 switches as buttons for different effects per preset - I have the correct TRS cables.

I purchased a Duo and I am facing exactly the same problem, I can either use the pedal, or one of the 2 switches. YT shows only connection and installation onto FM3. I asked Steven from Otter, he refers back to the forum and YT. I feel very stupid, because it seems I am having that problem only.
 
I’m glad it isn’t just me. It’s as if it can’t recognise the 4 different switches and can only pick up on 2 of them.
Hopefully we can get some help - if anyone knows how to set these up with Axe fx that would be great.
 
Thanks all for the help - I appear to have now sussed out the issue and have got it set up correctly. Ignore my previous amateur ramblings haha
 
Set up standby switches - but only with a single function. The problem was I assumed that the hold function would work, but it didn’t so I have gone with just the tap function. Works perfectly
 
Some questions.

1.
Is it really true that stand-in switches can't have a hold function?

2.
OCD makes a 6 button version, but the FCs only have 4 external switch inputs.
a. I'd guess you'd connect the last 2 OCD switches to pedal inputs instead. Is that right?
b. Can they be made to work like switches?
c. Will hold functions work for them?

Tap and hold functions are possible with all of our products with all Fractal products, some setup steps are different between the FM and FC’s but the FC tap and hold setup can be found on page 34 here:

Make sure to set them up as momentary normally open, virtual toggle, and as stand-in switches.
