Not so intelligent harmony - help please

I have been trying to set up an auto harmony for the classic 'Boys are back in Town' riff but it does not seem possible as it needs to follow two chords. I was wondering if there was a way to have the whammy set to a semitone lift (like a pedal steel) just to lift one note in the harmony sequence by a semitone when needed. Has anybody managed to do something like that?

Thanks for the link to Simeons thread. He did this on an Ultra so I hope I can translate that on to the FXII. The clip sounds amazing so he did a great job. If I manage to re-create it I will post the patch. Unless someone has already done it for FXII?
