Non Waiting List?

Hey guys, Iam just wondering when if anyone knows, when you think the AX8 will be in stock and NOT! have to be on a waiting list? The way I see it now it looks like a guy like me might not be able to buy one til the end of the year or next year?

Iam not ready to buy yet but at this point Iam wondering if I should save a little extra and buy another AXE FX 2 instead? Had to sell my mine due to getting very sick!! But I would Love to get an AX8 but it seems to me that as slow as its going, even if I had the money now getting on a waiting list at this moment, I will be waiting til the cows come home latter this December or longer. LOL Just wondering what some of you guys think. Was tempted to just get a Helix (because I play a Variax guitar) to be able to fully use it BUT! being an ex Axe Fx 2 user I dont really want to? Any thoughts? Thanks and God Bless!!
 
Get on the list and hope you have the coin when your # comes up! Even the XL + is out of stock. so is the mfc. so is the FX-8. Fractal products are top of the line and many want in. Better just get on the list.
 
The last time a list was up (and that wasn't a complete list) it didn't look like there were too many people on it after December 2015. The list is getting filled pretty quick if you look at the AX8 U.S. and Canada Purchase invite thread. In 8 days they have almost completely blasted through November compared to October that took 4 months. I would just get on the list and have your money ready!
 
The max amount of days that anyone who reported on the "purchase invite" thread had to wait was 164 days (10-16-15 sign up, 3-28-16 invite). Since then, the wait has been steadily dropping. The last data point I saw was 138 days (20 weeks) between sign up and invite.
 
How do you like the Variaxe? I've been looking for something like a PRS P22 that has traditional and piezo pickups so I can get a decent acoustic sound along with an electric for church. In the last couple of days I've started looking into the Variaxe which seems would fit the bill perfectly....would def. make me look even harder at a Helix.

I LOVE!!! my variax!. I dont really use most of what it does BUT! for acoustic guitar modeling, you cant beat it!! Iam thinking about selling it tho and going with a ghost system guitar setup because I want to buy an AX8 really bad! I have a one of a kind Variax! Dont want to sell her but I do? LOL. Its a guitar that you either Love or Hate! Me, I LOVE IT!!

The FX8 took 6 months for it to become available after the wait list. I would figure around June or July to be "in stock" on the Fractal site.

I have a ghost system in my Am Dlx HSS Strat and it sounds great though the AX8 using the "Acoustic direct" preset.
 
Not sure if this helps, but placed myself on the waiting list 1/1/16, received my invite last midweek and it's on the way. Would think the list was top loaded in the October/November timeframe, so waiting times should plummet. Suggests ready availability might be soon.

Why not put your name on the waitlist?
 
I signed up on the wait list on Nov 20th, got my invite on April 11th. Based on what Codfish is saying, the wait list seems to be flying by now.
