As promised, the a/b. I clearly got carried away on the second part...

These sound very close to my ears. There's a little more high end to the first, and perhaps a bit more bite. Is the first sample the 85/15? I think I preferred the first sample, which sounded a little fuller to my ears.

I like what you're saying about medium PAF, even though they measure hotter. That's my read too.

Both sound good. Very different from the LPs I know you love, and that I am quite partial to, but also very vocal in a way those are not. Like comparing a tenor and a soprano.
