Incredibly sexy but I really really really wish we could all collectively do away with FR trems. I just can't stand them (being a metal guy myself even)

Well, I have so many PRS trems and stop tail guitars I gotta have at least one Floyd... First thing that goes in is a Tremendus stabilizer.

Congrats again. That’s a sweet guitar. Nice neck through.

I purchased a Blackjack SLS Avenger FR S about 2 years ago. It’s a great guitar. The Floyd was one of the reasons I chose it. Like you, I have PRS trems and stoptail, but was looking to get a little crazy.😉

For the first time in years on this, I feel seen. Couldn’t agree more. Much prefer a Les Paul style bridge as far as overall comfort, at least as far as where my hand likes to rest.

I am tempted by the C-1 SLS shape ans similar... was thinking about trying out a Red Reign Apocalypse. The Sustainiac pickup might be a bonus too.

To the OP... how does the neck feel?

I really like this line of guitars, great choice!

I picked up a fixed bridge version of one of these a few years ago on a whim when Sweetwater was selling a demo for $600 with a minor blemish in one of the cutaways. It's a really great playing guitar. I swapped out the Fluence Moderns for the Abasi signatures and reconfigured the push/pull to match my desired switching, and it punches way above its price point.

You're suggesting to eliminate a particular type of guitar feature. How is it not related?
Thankfully, none of us are in charge of these production lines.

But I've got a really good JEM clone with a FR and EMGs that I would love to trade for an ESP LTD EC-1000 with EMGs, just so I can get a hard tail bridge. Sadly, nobody wants to make this trade with me! Parts guitars being what they are.

And those who like and prefer them, what are they supposed to do? I have a guitar with a Floyd type trem, non-blocked, and it's one of my favorites. I've passed on many guitars because they didn't have a trem.
