Absolutely agree with you. The neck is so amazing that's one of the things I was worried about possibly not liking the feel or shape without trying first but, thankfully it feels great in my hands. Really highly recommend this brand

LOL yeah. I was watching it for awhile also. it was originally Josh Rand from Stone Sour guitar I found that interesting. they didn't put that in the description. Just makes it more interesting for me

That's a great question I assume it's a stain/dye process then clear coat over the top. I've seen videos of PRS doing very similar style finishes

Probably stain/dye, as you say, but then sanded off where it shouldn't be darkened. I know that's how Cort pronounced the woodgrain in some of their guitars.
