ElectricPhase
Fractal Fanatic
I just want to give a shout out to whoever traded in their ESP LTD Skolnick Sig to Guitar Center! Why this saintly personage decided the guitar wasn't good enough for 'em is a real mystery.
I haven't bought an electric in more than a decade, but I've been looking for a Les Paul and doing the Gibson roulette shuffle for about a year. I almost went for a 2016 Trad several months back. Sounded and played great, but the sucker had been given the full GC showroom treatment and looked like it had been dragged behind a car. My guitars don't look like that after 20 years of hard use.
Yesterday I had a half hour to kill before a meeting, and was just wandering GC picking up random guitars when I saw this thing on the used wall. Full size body, feels like a good LP, quality hardware, good pickups, comfy neck, nice big frets, bone nut, not a mark on it anywhere....under five bills?
Fastest guitar purchase I've ever made! Korea builds good guitars. Les Paul G.A.S. is gone....for now.
