ngd: charvel wild card #7

Experienced
just couldn't resist the lure, especially knowing that these japanese charvels are a thing of the past (or so i heard)
whilst the neck seymour duncan stk t1 sounded great, the jb in the bridge was a tad too high output for me, making it rather harsh sounding.
moreover, the volume difference between the neck and bridge positions was driving me bonkers.
replaced the neck with a dimarzio chopper i had lying around and paired it with an old virtual paf.
had to chisel off some wood in the neck cavity (what are you out of your mind?!) to fit the chopper.
also had to muck about with the legs of the paf cos it sits higher than the seymour duncan.
all's well that ends well cos i really like how things turned out.
smooth tones from both the pickups and most of all, equal volume level.
here it is after the pickup swaps.
