Budda
Axe-Master
Well after seeing the base CS customs spike in price as of January, I decided to hit the "research" button and keep my eye out for what seems like the most bang for one's buck.
Enter this gently used 2022 1968 Reissue Les Paul Custom from Lovies:
Thanks to Derrick at Lovies I saved a lot of money versus ordering new from our main Gibson dealer (never did get that timeline quote). This guitar is fantastic! Weighing under 10lbs, a neck very similar to my '21 R9, and the 68 Custom pickups sound clear and lively. Overall I'm really glad I managed to find this and move on it. I figure if I'm dropping CS money, I'll skip the 9-hole weight relief and 490/498 that I already have in my '96 standard .
Now I really need a group to play with!
