New to midi. How to utilize mc6II with Axe III

Hey all. New to AXE FX and to the forum. Just got my III and super excited to use it. I have sold most of my heads and am planning on just using the AXE III. I have been able to create presets no problem and am really astounded at the sounds I am getting. I am however a total newbie (like as green as you can get) as far as midi switching and how it works. Iv'e just never done it. I am just looking for the bare basics on how to utilize the Morningstar MC6II with the AXE FX III to switch scenes within a preset and also to utilize the tuner. I have done my best to try and utilize the manual for both but to be honest am almost more confused. Is there any step by step or other tutorial/s available that describes how to get these two working together?
Thank you, Jamey

Programming patch changes (Using switch A as our example):
Press switch A to select the button you want to program
Press D and F at the same time - this brings you to the edit menu
Click Msg - To navigate from field to field use the A or B switches
In the Type Field , (press F and C to go thru the parameters) select PC Msg
At the bottom you will see 0:0 0:0 - You want to change the first zero to the patch number you want.
So if you want the A button to send a program change of 15 - set that number to 15.
It should look like this: 15:0 0:0
At this point you need to save - press D and E at the same time.
To exit the menu E and F at the same time, twice.

Programming scene changes
First, on the Axe Fx you need to see what value your scene parameter is set to.
Press I/O button
Page to the Cntrl page
Arrow down until you see Scene Incr, Scene Decr
Take note of both values. On my Axe they are set to 75 and 77. It doesn't matter what value they are set to as long as they don't conflict with another parameter you want to change.
On the MC6
Press switch B (you can assign this to any switch you want) to select the button you want to program
Press D and F at the same time - this brings you to the edit menu
Click Msg - To navigate from field to field use the A or B switches
In the Type Field , (press F and C to go thru the parameters) select CC Msg
At the bottom you will see 0:0 0:0
The first 4 digits should look like this : 75:127
This means its send a CC message 75 to your Axe which in our example is Scene Incr
At this point you need to save - press D and E at the same time.
To exit the menu E and F at the same time, twice.
Do the same for your next switch to program your Scene Decr
To name your switch press your switch, hit D and F at the same time and you will see the Name menu. Use the same buttons as above to navigate.

Good luck
