Nice album, almost all instrumental (except one song), surely not the best one IMHO but a wonderful sound and mix.
A good way to say goodbye to Richard Wright (if you do not think about the commercial side of of this operation...:-|)

It just as expected. Its not DSoTM or the Wall but i really liked it from the start.
 
Ahhh I went to get this last Saturday and HMV won't get them in till the next day or so. I can't wait to hear it. A bookend to a 50 year recording history. Richard Wright was a huge part of the overall Floyd sound; I've always loved his compositions and sounds. This is a touching tribute...
 
Picked it up earlier today and have listened to most of it; some of it reminds me of the long instrumentals from Wish You Were Here and I hear things from various other Floyd albums from over the years.

I really like the various sound textures throughout from Wright, and Gilmour's guitar has a little more punch than usual. It's a mellow, ambient album but it's great IMO.
