I just restrung my guitar and tried out my new elixir cable (amazing cables btw the only ones i've known to ever make a difference, it's incredible)

There's no bass in this and it's just a rough mix.

Its fas mod + metal 4x12 cab

Are you using reverb? Big no-no. If not then it sounds loose somehow. Could be tighter.

I never put reverb on heavy guitars. Probably just my playing and the fact there's 4 tracks of guitar, I just tracked as I went along!

The tone sounds badass, but perhaps the 4 tracks of guitar doing the same thing are de-focusing the sound a little?

Hey, great job on the clip. I love me some Meshuggah!

Here's a couple of tips:
I would cut some bass frequencies before the signal hits the amp block to tighten it up. If you are going for a Meshuggah tone, I think you need to scoop the mids some more, and turn up the treble and presence. Meshuggah has a very bright guitar tone that slices through the mix even they don't use a ton of mids. I would also use a little less gain to clean the sound up a little too. All IMO of course.
