New FM3 - Footswitch Problem?

When I powered on my new FM3, the footswitch windows all have just dashes and do nothing if they are pressed, and have no press and hold function. As I scroll through factory presets, nothing changes on the foot switches and they do nothing. The manual states “when the FM3 starts up, it loads the PRESETS footswitch layout”. Mine doesn’t appear to have loaded any layout. Is there an issue? It came with firmware 3.02 and I didn’t run any updates. Thx.

from the front panel, press HOME, then Knob E for setup, hit Enter on the FC menu choice, and Page Right all the way to Default Footswitch Layouts. highlight the first option and press Enter.

I resume this thread because I had this problem and the fix is much easier now.
You only have to go to: FC Controllers/Onboard Switches -> Reset and then Load factory default.

My FM3 was also like this when I received it a couple weeks ago. It’s really odd these steps are necessary and there’s no mention of it in the manual.

Seems that only some of the units are affected with this issue. Good that this forums is alive and folks are exchanging they’re experience here.
