New EV-1 is a bit squeaky....

I really love the thing but it's definitely got a bit of a squeak that I can't seem to pinpoint.

Should I take it up with support, or is there a common knowledge remedy that I don't know about?

I had the same problem with a new EV-1, I used WD.40 specialist white grease, I put a little of this white grease on each moving part,
and since (June 2021), no more worries !

but I think if you open the EV-1 (New) you also void the warranty, I did so at my own risk!

you should just contact the support, to see if this solution is ok or not?

A little preventive maintenance won't void the warranty. Some white grease on the moving parts will solve the squeak. If it doesn't solve the squeak problem, you've got more than an EV-1 problem. Hopefully, it's not your footwear.
