New $6000 Analysis Plus Cable!

I heard that the cable is actually soaked in Viagra to increase the sustain.

I'm guessing they need to charge that much for the cable so they can pay their marketing team. I'm also guessing this is right up there with the pet rock, and Ronco Smokeless Ashtray.

They didnt sell any. They are achieving exactly what they wanted. We're talking about it(them). Free advertisement

Yep... and for that very reason, I would consciously not buy anything from them

Some of the more precious quotes from the NAMM video:

"This cable has the best sound..." (he's not talking about the $6000 cable);

"It's actually a balanced design with a single-ended connector...we have a patent on the geometry."

"Bass players and instrument players really like it."

"If you don't move around too much, it gives you great sound."

"We have power cords...they're a balanced design, and the ground is the shield."

"It keeps all your noise in and out."

"It has a hollow inside a hollow inside a hollow oval, so it's dead quiet."

"We've had about four serious inquiries."

"I think this is the busiest we've ever been at a NAMM show. Graphics seem way up."

"Very few of our cables, we have problems, but if they do, they just send 'em back and we reterminate 'em, where most companies, they just throw you out and give you a new cable..."

They're actually using the new generic form of viagra: Mycoxafloppin.

A trick they picked up no doubt from another laughing stock in the cable business 'M*****r'. They've been selling ridiculously priced cables for many years now and some people actually buy that shit thinking they're really doing something more then just pissing away their hard earned dollars, when in fact I've yet to see any proof at all that their speaker cables are any better then those you get at R**** S****. IMO it's all about packaging and sales hype, the rest is between your ears (perceived).

I suppose there's always some room for better engineering and technical improvement, but at some point you have to ask yourself "is this nail going to hold two pieces of wood together?" and the other nonsense doesn't really matter.
