New 1U Rocktron Velocity 300

Rocktron has re-engineered their Velocity 300 into a 1U unit. Dunno what it sounds like yet, but I just ordered one. This might be a very good alternative to other 1U units, I have a Rocktron Velocity 100 which is very solid but the 300 has obviously more power, but also more control over the sound.

Its 150 watts/ch into 4ohm, 100 watts/ch into 8, or 300 watts/ch into 8ohm bridged.

Got the very same PA, it works great with my Axe-fx! Lot's of power too! I will upload a youtube video with some samples as soon as I have a chance!

It says 150 watts/ch. into 8ohm unless im reading it wrong

I bought a Rocktron velocity 300 to replace my qsc hpr 122i set up which I wasn't having much luck with. I am running a Marshall 2x12 cab with it and am thrilled with the results. The amp is pretty heavy but to me it's a wash because the Qsc weighed around 60 pounds all by itself.

Hmm, one seller says 9" deep and 17.5 pounds. I guess I'll find out when it gets here.

Actually it weights 21.5 lbs, pretty heavy indeed ... I'm going FRFR and shall be posting mine for sale shortly! : o
