Albert King was one of the great Blues players-SRV learned a lot from him. But to say something like this to me, is well, sad. Just thought it was weird. Both greats of course, but only one Jimi.............Jimi is what we listened to in Chu Lai......Kept me going!
Love Albert but I seriously doubt he could, "Easily play Jimi's songs" No way!

Ha, that was interesting. I guess it was just some old man “get off my lawn” to the young guy stuff. Hendrix was blues and beyond the blues. Sort of like all the jazz purists clutching their pearls when Miles put out Bitches Brew. I’ll have to give Albert King some slack I guess.
