So i have my AXE FX setup pretty well established now, Twin Reverb for cleans, Shiva for crunch, New Recto for high gain stuff and for leads i've been using the USA Lead which i believe is a Mesa MKIV.
I really like a liquid lead tone with thick mids and mild highs, which is why i went for the MKIV, it sounds great but I think there's better in the Axe that i haven't found yet.
I've tried the Cornford which was good at low volume but lost something at gig level, does anyone have any recommendations for a nice lead base sound that works well at serious volume ?
My main guitar is a US PRS Tremonti with stock pickups.
