guitar used in the recording is a basswood-body ibanez with a dimarzio crunch lab in the bridge position
recorded straight into cubase, no post EQ

I was aiming for an organic tube-driven crunch, with enough gain for the legatos and the fast runs, but still crisp and defined for the arpeggiated chords' clarity(well you all know the brown sound again, not perfect, but still pretty close imo .....eddie's sound will remain unmatchable anyway!

Yes, great playing. Tone is in the ballpark though a bit dull. Add a eq at the end of the chain with a narrow 5 db boost at 6kHz and it's ultimate.
