How long have you been trying to find a good country-ish sound? By country do you mean anything in the tweed zone, or did you have something else in mind?

That's one thing that concerns me about the Axe also. It seems to be heavy on high-gain sounds. Not really my thing, although I'd have some fun with that stuff every now and then.
 
I meant in the more modern style, like Paisley and so. Just try Andrew's or my tweaked Patch and you'll see.
I had a hard time with the Ultra to find that kind of sound, but now with the II it's way easier.
