My Rocktron 7 pin midi cable is not powering my MFC-101.Help

Hooked MFC up to my Ultra using Rocktron 7 pin and i have to use the power supply to turn it on.
The midi cable works because the presets are all recognized and the tuner etc... but unless i plug in the power supply, the MFC won't power up with just the 7 pin cable.
It is the Rocktron RRM900 30' 7pin cable that i am sure i have seen people on here say is suppose to work. Am i missing something

Do you have the MFC power supply plugged into the back of the Axe-Fx (just above the midi in)?

Thank you dude!! I thought it was just suppose to magically power up with the 7pin alone. lol

That is why i love these boards, because i can learn this stuff from you guys and save my limited brain power for mastering the guitar :lol:
