What 3d printer do you have?Thought I'd post an update on this thread. In the last couple of months I've 3d printed a stand for the vp4 so one sites above the other, slightly angled, and the two line6 GS10 receivers sits on its own 3d printed platform behind the 2nd VP4. The first VP4 is the pre-FM9 VP4 and the 2nd is the post-FM9 VP4. I've been using this for quite a while now and super happy with this dream home setup. I may see if I can improve cable management a bit to make it a bit neater but as for overall layout its pretty much perfect for me.

It's a BambuLab X1C. I've attached the STL's if anyone's interested.What 3d printer do you have?
Cool, not an inexpensive device, but it goes up from there. It's a BambuLab X1C. I've attached the STL's if anyone's interested.
Mr. Allard clearly isnāt in the compromises for cost business⦠Except for wireless, for whatever reason (probably that upside down thing).not an inexpensive device
Hehe, no, I'm fortunate enough that my business enables me to spend money on things that I enjoy.Mr. Allard clearly isnāt in the compromises for cost business⦠Except for wireless, for whatever reason (probably that upside down thing).
Yeah, I looked for the most user friendly one I could find. Bambulab seemed to be the easiest to use so that's why I got that one. It's been great.Cool, not an inexpensive device, but it goes up from there.
That's a whole world i haven't explored.
How do they not work? Like, no sound at all coming out of them?a lot of dongle type wireless systems doesn't work with piezo type guitars
Yes, the dongle types I tried wouldn't give any sound on piezo guitars. With piezo guitars, they have a stereo jack and when you insert a mono cable it shorts two of the connectors and that's what turns the power on to the piezo, and why the batter gets drained if you leave the cable plugged in.How do they not work? Like, no sound at all coming out of them?

Ah, I see, thanks for the explanation! Iāve had a couple of guitars with piezo, one has two jacks - stereo and mono (with the mono you switch between magnetic, piezo, or a blend of both), the other one has just one mono jack and a switch (no preamp onboard). So all kinds of wireless dongles work with both. With piezo guitars, they have a stereo jack and when you insert a mono cable it shorts two of the connectors and that's what turns the power on to the piezo
But I have been moving a lot lately, including cross border, so all my equipment has been sitting in a container for the last 2-3 years, imagine the frustration! All I can afford to carry with me these days is an FM3 and a traveler guitar. Hope this period ends soon and Iāll be back to a room full of wires, speakers, blinking LEDs, guitars on a stand and a no compromise modeler finally.
Best of luck getting back to your no-compromise modelerIāve also had a Jekyll/Hyde kind of life with a real day life paying for guitars and stuff. But I have been moving a lot lately, including cross border, so all my equipment has been sitting in a container for the last 2-3 years, imagine the frustration!
