Hi!

Just wanted to share a teaser of the last band I recorded. I used an Axe FX Standard with an LTD EC-401VF (Seymour Duncan JB/59) for guitars. Bass was also recorded using the Axe Standard.

Yeah, maybe, man. They´re quite dark and sometimes almost black metal, so you may be quite right. I´m not much into Slayer stuff, so I cannot assure it.

Did you liked the sound I got for this band? I really appreciate all the feedback you can give me to try to improve my flaws.

The guitars sound tight, brutal and crisp so I wouldn't change much about that. I'm a big fan of JG Thrilwell/Trey Spruance/Frank Zappa/Devin Townsend because their mixes have a lot going on in them and there's always several layers to pick apart. It might help if you take a page of of their books.

The guitar players are very good and they play quite tight. It helps a lot.

I also like a lot Devin´s productions. Love the Soilwork ones for example. I will have to study the other guys´ productions. Thanks for the info, man!
