The guitar effect in this song is supposedly something like a split signal into two whammys or something like that. Not sure.

Basically he is playing single cords and triggering the sequence of notes.

I heard a version someone made on a Boss gt10 that was amazingly close so I figured that the Axe could do something similar but wasn't sure if anyone ever figured out this specific sound.

Hey, no problem.

The link refers to the old abandoned forum and the thread is quite old, so there's a good chance missing that ;)
