More violins with major / minor / seventh switch

That sounds great / dat klinkt prachtig!

What's the FX Loop block for?

I use the FX loop to split my sound : output 1 goes to PA, output 2 goes to my stage-amp.
Normally i would place a CAB-block behind the FX-loop.

Bump for this amazing preset. Love the way the pedals work.

FWIW: I defined 4 stomp-buttons to switch :
1 : cc7 - 0 , cc8 - 0 --> minor
2 : cc7 - 127 , cc8 - 0 --> minor 7th
3 : cc7 - 0 , cc8 - 127 --> major
4 : cc7 - 127 cc8 - 127 --> major 7th

External 7 attached to cc7, External 8 attached to cc8

As a note: in Axe-edit, the shift amount on Voice 1, synth 2 does not show correctly
Is should be 3 instead of 16 wich shows in Axe-edit (at least on my PC)

Cheers,

Eric

oh and while i compose myself... i am wndrn why you included the amp sim considering the synth block are 100% wet? i'm sure you've done that for a reason, just wndrn why?

Thanks, although some people consider me more of a legendary muck-up.....

I try to use the amp for some general tone-shaping.
It does make some difference what tone you send into the synth blocks. (at least to my perception that is.....)

Eric

love the patch but totally confused by this...

actually i think i've got it. i have to make four switches with different midi values (0 - 127) for cc7 and cc8 right?

You've got it!!!
1 sets cc7 and cc8 to 0
2 sets cc7 to 127, cc8 to 0
3 sets cc7 to 0, cc8 to 127
4 sets cc7 to 127, cc8 to 127
You could read replace 0 for off and 127 for on

You should try to link the 4 switches, so you can only have 1 on
(ie. 1 on would switch 2, 3 and 4 off, 2 on would switch 1, 3 and 4 off etc.)

Cheers,

eric

cool i've just done it with momentary switches and it works way cool. you only need 3 switches too. set them up so that the off value for each switch defaults to both cc7 and cc8 to 0 and then there you go. i guesse momentary switches are better for this cause if you were playing a chord progression you'd want to be able to change the harmony states quickly enough.

how long did you work on this patch for? it seems quite involved...

Can't wait to try this. Why do you have to switch from major to minor etc? Does this patch harmonize one note? If so, can it work if I just play the chords myself?
