More momentary switches (for midi boards)

In order not to hijack the other "momentary switches" thread, here goes :

Here's what I dream of :

A box with 4 momentary switches (tap tempo, looper record/play, play/stop, dub), at the correct height and/or angle, with a good, soft feel, for accurate tap tempo and looper control.
Each of these switches has a different serial resistor. They are connected in parallel, so that the whole box can be connected to the midi controller as an expression pedal would. Okay, it is a bit more complicated, because you need real potentiometer operation, not just variable resistor, but you get the point.

AND, it has an input jack, for parallel connection of a real expression pedal.
Optionally, it has a latching 3PDT switch to choose between the momentary switches and the connected expression pedal (but that should be rendered unnecessary by per-patch exp. pedal programming of the midi board).

To use it, program the MIDI board so that different value ranges of the "expression pedal" trigger different IA switches. I THINK the Liquid Foot and Gordius controllers are both able to do that (can anyone comfirm ?).

What do you guys think ?

The GORDIUS products don't have exactly what you describe. But they do have 4 input jacks, to each of the jacks you can connect an expression pedal or a dual momentary switch (like the Boss FS-6, or something you make yourself for less money). So this means you can have 4 momentary switches plus 2 expression pedals connected to the LittleGiant module (LGM2). The LG2 and LGX2 have the same but add a number of built-in switches to that.
(Attention: the support for dual footswitches on 1 jack is functionality which has not been released yet - it needs a firmware update which is getting delayed for the moment... Today the jacks only support expression pedals or single momentary switches)
