How do you connect powered monitors like Adam A7X.KRK 5 ?

Via the 1/4 "" output cable or via the 3 pole
balanced?

What is the difference between unbalanced and balanced?

(just I shop the equippment and want to buy the correct)

To connect Adam A7 monitors directly to the Axe-Fx, I would use balanced cables (XLR) to connect from Axe-Fx OUTPUT1 to the XLR connector on the back of each Adam A7. More info: http://www.adam-audio.com/en/pro-audio/products/a7x/description
