Wish Modifiers for metronome

Hi, just upgraded from FM3 to FM9 this week, that‘s why I post m wish here, but it‘s of course also for the other units.

Was it already discussed or wished for to make the metronome controls assignable to modifiers? I know there are many wishes to be able to activate the metronome with a footswitch.

If the Metronom controls would be assignable to control switches or external switches it would be possible to assign this control switch to a foodswitch and also to control tempo or metronome volume with an expression pedal.

Would be great to have the Metronome be able to have a global volume setting and then be switched on/off via a press of a button, just like the Tuner can be. Would also be great if the Looper didn't recognize it - so you could use it to record a base layer, and then turn the metronome off and continue layering into the looper.

Would like to assign metronome on/off to footswitch, so we can hear tempo before starting a song (or during) at the press of a button

You can map the Metronome volume knob to your global preform page. I think I have that set up on my Axe and FM9.
 
Bump! Because I am practicing right now and this would be an amazing tool instead of having to use the looper through my DAW.

Can you explain further? Maybe walk through a step by step and how it works once set up. Maybe this could help. Cheers!
