how do you do the jose mods?
Is it just sat switch?

There were any number of Jose mods, especially tailored to the buyer, but generally they included some combination of an extra front end gain stage (frequently with some low end filtering via it's coupling cap, so use the Amp Block's Boost and Input EQ), PPI Master Volume (Master Volume type), and Clipping Diodes (Saturation).
