Moar’ Wood! A Laurent Brondel Honeycaster “Nashville“ build

Love, love, love it. That’s really cool the way the finish is stressed Another fine instrument really looks great.

Thank all y’all for the kind words and comments.

I normally hate relic’ing… I truly do… But this guitar just seem to ask for that “I’m 60 years old, but well cared for look” … we agreed to a light relic .

The tuners and hw look appropriately aged as well now.

I asked Laurent as the maker what his early toanz thoughts were on the guitar…

Laurent Brondel:
The guitar sounds absolutely great, Ron’s pickups are the best. The bridge bites but is not harsh, the neck is smooth, like an early Broadcaster, yet clear. The in-between sound as they should, my fave being the bridge-middle combo.
Low action, feels like an old guitar, but is brand new.

👍❤️🙏

Probably one of the loudest acoustically electric guitars I’ve ever owned. The action is wicked fast. Feels like 9s or 8s even though it’s strung with 10s.

Low action and phenomenal fretwork!
