That't it!Usually that seems to be a latching verses toggle switch setting, IMO... But without knowing how you have it setup (as Chris says) that is just a guess.
That't it!
If I set it to continuous it works!
Perfect.
Nice. Didn’t know that could fix it. But the SP1 switch is wired as a “expression pedal” requiring TRS, not a simple TS switch, so I guess that’s it.
Absolutely fab! I just needed to know where to look.Nice. Didn’t know that could fix it. But the SP1 switch is wired as a “expression pedal” requiring TRS, not a simple TS switch, so I guess that’s it.
They did it since most MIDI controllers only have XP jacks, and few have actual XS. I think the GCP and other similar at the time had 2 XP only.Well, now, THAT makes perfect sense! I had no idea the switch was TRS... Seems like an odd decision, but maybe not.
Good point... And an XP can be a "switch"- 0 and 127!They did it since most MIDI controllers only have XP jacks, and few have actual XS. I think the GCP and other similar at the time had 2 XP only.
Yup. Try a piano sustain pedal instead of a XP one day!Good point... And an XP can be a "switch"- 0 and 127!
