Mission pedal question

I would like to purchase an SP-1 and an EP-1 to work with the MPC-101.
Can anyone suggest which of these 2 pedals would be a better choice to add a spring option onto?

it depends do you want the pedal to do more then one thing? ie have it be a wah, then click teh toe switch and have it be something else? If the answer is no i dont want to do that, get an ep-1

I use an spring loaded EP-1 for Whammy and a SP-1 for Wah.
