Mission Control Pedal question.

I bought a Mission Control expression pedal because they are suppose to be the best to use with the Axe FX but I can't seem to make it work. I have an Ernie Ball vp jr. pedal that works fine that I had no trouble making work. Im sure its a simple thing but I can't figure it out. Can someone help turn the light on for me?

What is the problem?
If it doesn't respond at all check the cables and then check pedal calibration in the AXE or your midi controller (where it is connected to)

I haven't used an "expression pedal" before, so since it doesn't have an "input" jack I assumed that it just uses a standard 1/4" cord from the output jack to the Axe FX. Is this not correct?

yes, it needs to be a stereo (TRS) 1/4 inch jack or it wont work.

That will work. It needs to be TRS. You might think of it as "stereo" but it won't always be described as such.
