does anyone know whether its possible to pass a midi message through the axe fx 2 to another device and control that device

for example i have a mornimgstar pedal which i use to control the axe fx 2.

i am in the process of buying a midi controllable looper to insert into the fx chain

so i want to send midi to the axe fx and the looper pedal at the same time (different channels)

so the chain is morninstar into axe and then from axe into looper

is this possible

Yes... But which Axe Fx II model do you have?

Older ones have midi Out/Thru, not a dedicated Thru... So there is a "soft thru" setting to allow it to work, I believe.

Ok, so you need to use the soft thru... Since you will have a midi Out/Thru port.
