Midi out issue

Hey any1 else had an issue with a midi connector part? Mine has pushed into the unit a few millimeters. I wasn't getting a connection on axe edit until I toggled the cable but now i no longer even get that.

Is this a part I cud source easily? I live in New Zealand

Is the midi connector part loose? If so I would ask Independent Music for help. They are in Brisbane. If the connector part isn't loose try another midi cable. I've had the same issue when I got my Ultra. My midi cable almost fell off so I bought another one in the local store. This one had a thicker metal casing around the pins and the casing seemed to be a bit longer. Unfortunately there is no name on it so I can't tell you what brand it is.

So got word from support and the part is a generic piece I can source apparently, I know it's the part that's playing up and not a cable or driver issue bcos I bought another axe fx yesterday and it works fine.

Hopefully it's an easy fix bcos it still looks solid on the motherboard and has little movement.
