Midi mapping with 4cm question

This is is my Ax8 mapping. I don't even see a Midi option on the Fm3 editor.

In FM3 Edit you need to put up a midi block in order to assign midi functions. Leon goes over it in his vid.

In the video he is not using the 4cm with a real amp, what is different in the routing on the editor grid with 4cm and a real amp?

Just picture your amp in the loop! So guitar to FM3 in then (signal chain blocks ) Input 1 > frontend effects > output 2 > Amp input, amp effects send to input-2 FM3 > loop effects > OP-1 back to amp effects return!

If you are asking where the Midi block needs to be in the chain when using 4-cable method, it doesn't matter. The midi block is inserted as a stand-alone block. It doesn't have to be in the chain.
