MIDI in scene mode

Hello, I want to use my marshall JVM in conjunction with the AX8 ,using the 4 cable method. I would like to be able to keep the AX 8 in scene mode and be able to send midi messages to the MARSHALL ,so that the channels on the amp will change when i change scenes.I know it can be done ,i just have no idea how to do it. Would someone
be kind enough to help me with this ? thank you !
 
Does the JVM have midi or relay inputs? Using AX8 edit there's a tab towards the lower left called Midi. You can send a PC (think CC too) on each scene change. If the JVM does not have midi, you'll need a midi switcher.

yes the MARSHALL JVM is midi capable ,I've used it with a boss gt 10 years ago

I'd put the amp on MIDI Channel 2 and then configure each scene of the AX8 preset to send a program change message on channel 2.
